Physical activity recommendations

Phase 1: Conceptualization (2015-2016)

In this already completed phase, a concept was developed that systematically links recommendations for physical activity with recommendations for the promotion of physical activity. Further information on conceptualisation can be found here.

Phase 2: Dissemination (2016-2017)

Together with selected stakeholders from different life environments, strategies and materials specific to target groups and life environments were developed in this phase to disseminate the recommendations. Further information on the dissemination can be found here.

Phase 3: KOMBINE (2018-2020)

Within the framework of the KOMBINE project (Municipal physical activity to implement national recommendations), these recommendations are to be implemented in the local community. The aim is to develop and test a concept for the municipal promotion of physical activity. The main focus is on people with social disadvantages (vulnerable groups). The KOMBINE project thus makes a contribution to achieving equal health opportunities. Further information can be found here.

Recommendations for physical activity and physical activity promotion (Download)

The central result of this project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Health, is the “National Recommendations for Physical Activity and Physical Activity Promotion”, which are aimed at experts, decision-makers and multipliers. They can be downloaded here.
