MuSkAT – Multiple sclerosis, physical activity and exercise

The aim of MuSkAT is to investigate physical activity and its influence on the immune regulation of MS patients and on psychosocial factors such as quality of life and depression. Based on the results of a first explorative study and the patient database, several follow-up studies will develop indication-specific motor and cognitive behavioural contents of interventions for leading and binding to physical activity for optimal resource-related health promotion in multiple sclerosis.

Period: 2007-2009
Project managers: Prof. Dr. Mathias Mäurer, Prof. Dr. Klaus Pfeifer
